☾ Your quest brings you to the edge of tall, dark forest surrounding a cloud-covered mountain, where a dark tower with no entrances awaits you.
☾ You’ve been traveling a dark road for days. Visions of an eye, or something like it, locked away in this tower have pulled you here, and reluctant as you were to take up another adventure, you couldn’t resist these calls.
☾ Your arrival is nothing to brag about. You can’t find a way inside. As you continue searching, a heavy sleep comes over you as the Moon shines high above the starlit ceiling above you.
☾ You appear to awake inside the very rooms of your visions, but there is no eye inside here. There is a crystal ball on a pedestal awaiting your gaze.
☾ You see a glasslike figurine in slumber on an icy bed, surrounded by moonlight. It’s hard to see clearly but there is an aura emanating from a dark heart within the being.
☾ Suddenly a voice cries out inside your head. “Heal me! Heal me!” The voice rings with despair and a weakened voice.
☾ As the voice’s call dims, a pale moonlit portal appears in the very room you are in…
☾ So, how will you proceed?
1. Buy items before heading to the castle.
2. Ask the merchant about his undead condition.
3. Call your friends over to this undead merchant so they can see his wares.
4. Ask for more details about the castle. Requires a charisma check.
5. Leave.

The image that inspired the story. The shortest of short campaign starters that it is, wouldn’t exist if not for this second design.
As with everything in the Dungeon Divers United world, the style and ideas are all over the place. Naming conventions too. I’m sure you caught that the “LVL” section of the title and the merch design’s name have a new period mark added that visually separates “LVL” and “99”. Not sure why I did that. Not sure that it really matters in the long, dark run through this dungeon.
